The color was not what I expected, but it was pretty and I could make it work with the color scheme. The stripe runs across the bed, also something else not the way I pictured - but again, workable. The problem is that the material forms little balls that feel terrible against the skin. It is similar to when a knit garment "pills" - doesn't look good - but of course, here the problem is the feel not the appearance. It feels rough and not at all comfortable. These balls formed very quickly too - within a day or two. I hoped that maybe they would wash out - No. The only thing that helped at all was to literally shave them off with a razor. It felt smooth and soft - for one night, then the balls formed again. Lets face it, who has time to shave their sheets? (on a daily basis!) Not to mention, how long could the fabric even withstand that treatment? I have never spent so much on sheets before. I splurged on the 400 count for the express purpose of wanting a really smooth feel. Boy, did that backfire! I got the exact opposite! I am very, very disappointed. I refuse to use them anymore, I can't stand them!

These are what I expected. Nice enough, sort of stiff, they come out of a hot dryer wrinkled and I feel compelled to iron them. Well, not so compelled that I actually do iron them unless company is sleeping on them...........
Nice color, they look exactly as they appear, deep red. The color doesn't bleed and they haven't faded yet.

its color is dark brown, not golden as it says in the description as pictured. Very dark for my taste
